What is the Skeels WantBookPlus Program?
WantBookPlus is a computer-based inventory and price book in a searchable database. Every item we stock is listed and can be searched for by manufacturer, product category, keyword or item number. The window that pops up shows List and Dealer pricing, along with the quantity we have in stock. All this is done off-line - you are not connected to the internet or our web site while you check stock, look up items, get prices or create your WantBook order.

What else does WantBookPlus do?
WantBookPlus can be used to generate an order that can be transmitted to our sales department. You can either email your "wantbook" order or print it out and fax it to us. Your WantBook order can be archived for future reference, or deleted from your system to save space.

How do you keep the inventory data current?
Every evening we update quantity information. Once a month we update item information, prices and descriptions. We suggest that once a day you update your data by downloading our file via the internet. The daily download takes seconds to perform and gives you the most current information available. Just connect to the internet with your regular browser, then launch the update program from the WantBookPlus File menu.

What are the computer system requirements to run WantBookPlus?
If your system operates on Windows 95 or above, it can operate WantBookPlus. The program needs only 11mb of disk space.

How can you receive a copy of WantBookPlus?
You may download a copy of this program by CLICKING HERE. You will be prompted to save the program to your hard drive. Once downloaded, locate the file on your hard drive (WB2Skeels.exe) and double click on it. Follow the instructions from the self-extracting installation program to install the program.

The installation program only contains the executable portion of the program. You must contact Skeels directly to receive your System ID and Password. The program will not work until you receive this information. Please call 310.639.7240 extension 260.
